Behind the scenes of our first photo shoot ‘Magic Dawn’

Surrounded by the sweet scent of fresh forest air, the afternoon sunlight reflected shades of gold through the trees. The native birds sang songs made of dreams, creating the most calming, magical and memorable first shoot for our first ever collection ‘Magic Dawn’.

Using nature as our guidance, the backdrop of the overgrown woods, wild daisies and various shades of green, matched the aesthetic of Falkreath the Label, and we were able to create an enchanting floral and vintage bohemian inspired photo shoot that will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Inspired by the way humans connect and feel grounded to mother earth and her offerings, we played around with various scenes and positioning. One of my favourites being the re-creation of the clothes line, except using trees as the basis of structure. This not only brought the clothing to life, but it felt like something out of a fairytale. Seeing the light breeze brush against the garments, the chrysanthemums and baby’s breath flowers bringing colour to the scenes. It was truly magical!

Nearby, the river stream trickled past the roots of the eldest trees, flowing further down the mountain. The sounds of the water rushing throughout the rocks was a therapeutic session of its own.

I wanted to make sure that the sustainable and ethical morals of Falkreath the Label were shown clearly through the photos, and my oh my, have my expectations been succeeded. If I could relive another day that meant the world to me, this would be one of them. Although, on the day there were hundreds of flies - so that part, not so much.

A huge thank you to my lovely photographer on the day - Adelaide Mourd, and beautiful model - Indy Martin. Without you girls, this wouldn’t have happened and I am so grateful.
