A little about us..

Hello and welcome to all of you beautiful people.

My name is Ebony and I’m the sole owner of Falkreath the Label. I’m twenty-six years of age and a soon to be expecting mother. My little girl arrives earth-side towards the beginning of March and before she enters into this world, given I’m no longer working, I’ve decided to get the ball rolling and bring out some new creations for you all and become a work from home mother.

Now, a little about the label and our ethics. Since the beginning, Falkreath has always been one-hundred percent plastic-free. I knew that when starting up a business, I didn’t want to be mainstream like the others and have a mass production of plastic to come along with my creations. Successfully, I have been able to avoid the plastic-plague by introducing my seeded paper swing-tags, hemp twine, biodegradable mailers and recycled cardboard thank you cards with each order… and have I mentioned, each and every Falkreath item is made using only organic cottons, muslins and dyes.

As far as production goes, it took me a solid nine months before I began sending off my designs. Choosing the right manufacturer was a very important decision to me and I knew what ethics I wanted Falkreath to stand for and the conditions I wanted each piece to be created under. Luckily, after the nine months of sourcing, I can proudly say we create in small quantities only, with a small family team in New Delhi, India. The staff are paid fair wages, given adequate lunch breaks and are supplied with health care checks often upon working. They have adhered to the requirements of my plastic-free sustainable and ethical clothing label and together, magic has been made!

Continuing on, I am so excited to see what what the future holds for my little label and my little girl. My brain is flooded with ideas and opportunities and I can’t wait to share them all with you.
